Begin your Day the Right Way

Have you ever felt that your day is just too stressful? Do you feel that your life is too fast for you to keep up? Do you feel that you never realize how your time is spent? If you want to overcome these feelings, read on. The way you begin your day psychologically affects the way the rest of your day shapes up. If you wake up rush through your morning chances are that you will have to rush through every other task through the day. You can stop this by making a few minor changes to your lifestyle. The most important you have to do is that you have to begin your day the right way. Early risers always have a longer day than those who prefer to sleep in. Nevertheless you can make your day productive irrespective of when you choose to wake up.

1. Be Positive

Your first thoughts, the things you think about as soon as you wake in the morning tend to influence your day. A person thinks, on an average 80,000 to 95,000 thoughts a day. Make your first few thoughts positive, strong and encouraging. As soon as you wake up be grateful as you have gotten another chance to achieve many things and to reach new heights. Make a mental plan of the tasks you have to do that day. This helps you do your work faster and more effectively as you already have a mental schedule which you will be following. Try not to rush things too much in the morning. Take things slow. Anything that is worth doing is worth doing slowly. It brings a sense of serenity which you will carry with you for the rest of the day. Keep thinking positive thoughts. Your thoughts act as a magnet. For instance if you think good thoughts good things happen to you. So by beginning your day on a happy and positive note you are attracting good things to your life.

2. Meditate

If you know any meditation technique; meditate for a few minutes. If not just sit in silence for a few moments. This will help you to bring all things into perspective. You will become aware of the issues you have to deal with, that particular day. Try to learn a simple meditation technique if possible. Meditating in the morning is said to improve the overall health of a person. Try not to rush things too much in the morning. Take things slow. Anything that is worth doing is worth doing slowly. It brings a sense of serenity which you will carry with you for the rest of the day.

3. Exercise

The next thing you should do is EXERCISE. Working out in the mornings is a great way to give you an adrenaline rush. Just go for a morning jog, play your favourite sport or just dance your way to good health. Anything that gets you up and your feet imparts a feel good factor. We know that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. To keep fit, ensure that you incorporate morning workouts atleast three times a week. All you need is a good pair of running shoes. If running is not your type of workout invite a friend for a morning game of badminton or tennis. Or just turn on some music and dance those calories away.

4. Eat right

Once you have burned off a few calories; the next thing is to eat. Eat a voracious, king sized breakfast. Make sure that this meal is nutritious and healthy. This will give all the necessary vitamins, minerals and proteins to get you through the day. A good, nutritious breakfast is scientifically proven to give you higher concentration levels and longer attention spans. Your breakfast should include carbs, fiber and proteins. Include a glass of milk or milk based products in your breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Never skip this meal. Always remember that when you skip breakfast it is highly likely that you will over ear later in the day. If possible eat together with your family. A family that eats together stays together. If you follow all the above mentioned steps you will be providing your body with a mechanism to face the world. You will be better equipped to deal with the challenges that will be thrown at you during the day. Well begun is half done. Start your day well. Bring in those positive vibes. Stay fit. Eat right. Stay healthy. Start LIVING and feel the difference.
