How to deal with the demons of frustration and depression

“Many people feel so pressured by the expectations of others that it causes them to be frustrated, miserable and confused about what they should do. But there is a way to live a simple, joy-filled, peaceful life, and the key is learning how to be led by the Holy Spirit, not the traditions or expectations of man.”

How you ever felt so irritated about every small thing in your life that you wished that you were never born?Or a time when you felt like doing nothing except sulking and blaming every other person for everything wrong in your world?A time when you would like to sit in a corner all alone and just cry your heart out?Even a small change would infuriate you to an extent that you end up screaming on every other person you find.

If this is truly the case with you, you might be suffering from frustration which may lead to depression.

According to google guru,frustration and depression has common roots.Frustration is the feeling of being upset or annoyed when we are unable to achieve a goal. While depression is the feeling of dejection which may find its way into our minds when we are unable to achieve our desired goal.

There are many reasons for depression. High expectations, peer pressure ,family pressure or anything which gives you a feeling of being worthless.

We should know that each one of us is different and unique in our own ways.We may not be good at everything but we can excel in a field we choose.

Tackling problems that has emotions involved is never easy.But then it is definitely not impossible.

The first step of healing yourselves from within is to actually accept that you are suffering from deep frustration and depression. Denial would be your first step to your own destruction.

Accepting it makes the situation whole lot better.It would mean that you know you are suffering  and you are ready to end that suffering.To deal with such emotions,you would need to be calm and ask yourselves as to what is troubling you so much.Find the reason.If you find the reason,you will also be able to find its solution.

Next is to try to make yourself understand that you cannot do everything.Try to find the reason behind your failure and work on it.

Divert your mind.Do what you enjoy the most.Read books,watch television,dance,listen to music,meet your friends.In short anything that would make you happy.

Talk to a friend if possible or any elder you trust.Talking about your problems is a great way of letting them go.

The last but not the least. Stop blaming yourself for everything.It is never easy to overcome your failures but you need to justify yourselves that it was not your fault.

Frustration and depression are great killers of hope and happiness.They suck out every positive thing.They drain your energy,your mental balance,your peace of mind.

Reward and pamper yourself in every way you can think of.Set small goals for yourself and celebrate when you achieve it.It would decrease the feeling of being worthless.

Depression can also affect you if you do not have a proper eating and sleeping lifestyle.You need a healthy and an active lifestyle to curb such demons.Keep your mind busy so that it does not have the time to think about the things that hurt you the most.Exercising regularly is a good way to uplift your mood.

Almost everyone suffers from this atleast once in their life.So donot give up on yourself.It is a state of your mind.Nothing that you cannot cure by yourself.

If you do not have a person you trust enough in your life.No problem!I give you the dumb diary!They are the perfect secret keepers.They would never tell anyone about your failures.Writing journals is a great way to relieve ourselves from the burden.

You need to learn the importance of your life.

Many people who wanted to end their lives but managed to live have confessed that the moment they step out to take the final plunge,they regret it almost immediately.They regain the hopes of living again.Of not giving up.Of fighting off every problem they face with a smile.

Remember,for every failure there is a grand success.For every sadness,there is true happiness.Never lose hope.Love yourselves the way you are because there is only one YOU in this world.No one can be you and you cant be someone else.Use it to your own advantage.Be courageous. Be determined. Be confident.You are not the only one to go through it and survive it.

Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.Giving up is a choice but not the only option.Be the survivor not the victim.

The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you.

Don’t let negativities effect you.They are a part of life.But it depends on you whether you make them a part of your soul too.
