Many a times that less than perfect look on your face takes away your confidence. A little freckle, that tiny dark spot, first signs of wrinkles or those acne scars that makes you shy away from mirrors for days altogether. Then ? We don’t even think twice before spending fortunes on expensive lotions, portions and solutions. The labels speak but the results don’t. Though we often fail to realize that such skin troubles can be cured for free with just a little effort and some basic ingredients from our very own kitchen.

HONEY AND CINNAMON TO DO AWAY THOSE ACNE MARKS:
Mix equal portions of honey and cinnamon and make a thick paste. Apply evenly all over face. Keep for 15 minutes. Wash with cold water. This will lighten acne marks and will give you moisturized supple skin, honey being a natural moisturizer. cinnamon has anti-bacterial properties that keeps the skin healthy.

LEMON JUICE FOR DARK SPOTS:
Mix lemon juice with a pinch of turmeric and dab on dark spots. Keep for 20 minutes. Wash off with cold water. Repeat thrice a week. lemon juice being a natural bleaching agent reduces spot and turmeric enhances complexion and has anti-bacterial properties.

BAKING SODA TO GET RID OF PIMPLES INSTANTLY:
Mix baking soda with water to make a paste. Apply directly on pimples and keep for half an hour. Wash off and will see the size of the pimple decrease. It basic nature kills bacterias and Help reduce pimples. Inflate them, therefore its a quick fix to those hideous pimples.

CUCUMBER JUICE TO REDUCE TAN:
Apply cucumber juice if you have faced the sun for long. Cucumber juice will cool down your skin reducing tan, making you feel fresh. Also it will help reduce the melanin production that causes skin darkening. It is safe enough to be applied every day and will help you go through summers with less skin troubles.

TEA FOR DARK CIRCLES:
soak green tea bags in some water and then put then into the fridge, take them out and put them on your eye lids. This will reduce dark circles and provide a cooling sensation, soothing your eyes. green tea is an antioxidant and hence helps reducing dark circles.

PAPAYA FOR CLEAR SKIN:
Take papaya pulp and massage it over your face. Keep it for 15 minutes and wash off. This clarifies your skin and makes you fairer. Massaging will help you with the circulation. Also using fruits for facials is a safe way to get a healthy glow.
