Nothing feels as good as being fit. Being fit is not a destination; it is a way of life. As you know ‘It is so hard when I have to and so easy when I want to’ you must workout because you love your body and not because you hate it. I can provide you hundred reasons why to workout but you must have the desire to be fit and you must be indeed prepared to do workouts regularly. Doing workout in a gym is not just strolling on a treadmill for more than an hour without having any idea on what you are actually doing perhaps it is about focusing on your workout. Choosing is the right gym is important as home gyms usually lack squat racks, heavy dumb bells and much heavy equipment including cardio equipment.

Don’t ever care of what others think of you as you may look funny when you workout and don’t also try to notice how others are working out. Have a proper schedule for your gym and plan working out at morning hours usually when the gym is free, if your working hours are flexible in order to avoid the crowd.  Remember you are not here to socialize, so stop conversations as this may leave you gossiping instead of working out. You must set a goal and stick to it to get fit. Make sure that your gym has squat racks, barbells, dumb bells, free weights, pull up bar, cardio equipment and exercise balls.  Choosing a gym is not just walking in to a nearest gym and signing up perhaps you must take a look at various factors starting from the equipment in gym, distance as commuting shouldn’t be a drawback, cost, working condition of machines, the time and various amenities that are provided.

The ambiance in which you workout also has its own role to play. If the songs played in the gym is not of your taste you would take your favorite collections and hear to it. Weight-lifting could be more helpful to shed pounds rather than a treadmill or an elliptical machine. Weight-lifting includes dumbbell, barbell etc. Once you set a goal and start working out you will get juiced up and luxuriate in working out. It is better to avoid eye contact with anybody in the gym including the meatheads or trainers, it may sound weird but it is good to be self-conscious to workout properly.

To workout effectively carry a kit with you which should have towel, water, tracks and clothes that you may change when you leave the gym. Keeping a time schedule is important as simply working out aimlessly will not fetch you good results. Fix a time and work out vigorously so that you get tired exactly in a time less than an hour. If you don’t get tired in an hour, then your workout is not adequate.

Don’t try all the exercises randomly and this is not advisable. Know your body and take the help of trainer to know which is better to you either weight-lifting or cardio-exercises.  Skipping your warm-up session is not good and that gives you the strength to work out vigorously. You must also keep in mind that you shouldn’t do cardio exercises before your lifting exercises. This may increase your heart beat rate. You may take short breaks during your workout. You must stick on to your commitment when it comes to workout as working out on an irregular basis will not give good results. Have a determination and will power so that you don’t skip your gym.

Staying fit and healthy is no more a dream. Choose the right gym, fix your schedule and start exercising. Few people have a misconception that working out will make you thin but actually working out will not make you thin but makes you fit and healthy. It cuts out the unnecessary flab in your body and makes you free of pooch. Think of your workouts as important meetings that you have scheduled with yourself and don’t cancel them. When you work out you shed pounds and look beautiful and younger.

As Bruce Lee says “If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life; There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. “Don’t confine yourself within your potentials and put your efforts to get fit. Staying fit not only enhances your physique but increases your lifetime, prevents cardio problems and other problems like knee pain, back pain etc. It also prolongs ageing and makes you look younger.

The best way to get rid of your flab is to work out. When there is a way to get rid of your excess pooch, why don’t you opt for it. Start your work out routine right from today and move to a healthy lifestyle. Work out daily and have a track on your daily workouts, keep changing your exercise routines and develop the most efficient workout. Stay fit, healthy and happy. Complaining won’t burn calories so start working out to burn calories.
