ILLUSION: Effect on Life and How to Face Them…

An ILLUSION is a distortion of the senses, revealing how the brain normally organizes and interprets sensory stimulation. Though illusions distort reality, they are generally shared by most people. Sometimes you must have felt that life has been so rude and against you all the time, when the other people around you would have been happy. Only one question in this situation strikes our mind i.e WHY ME….??? Why does God have to give all the problems to me at a time. I just finished with my problems a night before and early in the morning when I get up I find things messed up again… Why do these problem knock only my door again and again..

People, its time to open your eyes and RETHINK…!!!! Problems are nothing but only your mind’s illusion. Everybody has problems in their life but its just the way you treat them. When you treat it as a so called “ BIG PROBLEM” then it actually becomes big. Actually to be more specific, problems are just day to day chores that God assigns us and nothing else. It’s we who shape it in a way that it seems to be a problem. I would like to tell you a real life story. My friends mother is a psychologist and a very nice person. She is a teacher in college. They live in a joint family so elder people generally take all the decisions. One day her family planned to go on a holiday to Europe. The whole family was very excited for the trip except for her mother. Her mother had her counselling in the college and that is the time when no teacher gets leave from the college. But still for the family she adjusted somehow with this situation. But she was very reluctant in taking permission from college. Days kept on passing and a day came when she was told that today is the last day to submit the papers for visa which includes a no objection certificate that was to be issued by the college. Same day she had a fight with her mother-in-law regarding some personal issues. Her head of department got annoyed due to some other issues. So by the end of the day, her hands were full of problems that totally frustrated her. She was going back home from college with her daughter. As soon as she saw her daughter she bursted out in front of her saying that I always have so many problems I don’t want to go anywhere etc etc.. Her daughter was silent and then tried to console her mother. She was very tensed the whole night.Things took a turn in the morning. Her mother-in-law came and hugged her, she was given the NOC in minutes by the college and even the HOD talked to her very properly. Those problems that made her frustrated the whole day and whole night just got solved in minutes.

You must be wondering how this story is to be related with illusion. The problems that her mother faced were not actually so intense. They were all just her illusions. This is what I want to bring in your notice guys that there are no such problems in our lives that can’t be solved. They are just nere situations that come and go. It is just “illusion” that is creating Stress and Tension in your mind which can be very harmful to your health. Stress directly hits your mind and makes it weak. So, try on finding solution to the problems instead of spending your precious time on it. Whenever you feel that there are lots of problems in your life just spend two minutes to jot down every problem on paper and try to analyse. Suddenly you will realize that most of your problems are just small things that you thought were a problem.

There are many other ways to fight stress some of which include:

  •  MEDITATION: it actually relieves all the stress from your mind and gives you strength in many ways.
  • TAKE A DEEP BREATH: when ever you find some problem just take a deep breath then think for a minute and you will automatically come out with a solution.
  • DECOMPRESS: Place a warm heat wrap around your neck and shoulders for 10 minutes. Close your eyes and relax your face, neck, upper chest, and back muscles. Remove the wrap, and use a tennis ball or foam roller to massage away tension.

These are the best three techniques that relieves you from tension and stress.

So people come out of all your illusions and live a life that is full of happiness. You have just one life so don’t spend it in only taking stress and tension. You encounter a problem, think for some time, take a deep breath and attack that problem with confidence. Instead of taking tension, let your mind be busy in attacking it. Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect it just means that you have decided to overlook the imperfections.
